This is a planet generation tool that lets you generate procedural textures that can be used in game engines or other projects, this includes a diffuse colour map, an ocean/land mask for roughness, a bump map and a displacement map.
Because this is made proceduraly it has near unlimited detail so you can export texture maps as big as 64k if you needed it.
There are a lot of controls for this texture, some are for randomising the scale and seed of the land and sea, some are for changing the colours of each part of the texture and some are for making the different biomes different sizes.
Every seed is different so you can keep going through them to find a seed that you like.
-IMPORTANT: Blender 2.9+ is required for this to function correctly as it has new nodes that i use, 2.83- can be used but the detail might get repetitive or not as highly detailed.
HOW TO USE:
To use the generation nodes you need the sphere selected, then if you navigate to the materials tab on the right you can change all the settings for the shader.
To change between the different maps either use the left and right arrow keys to go between them or manually change what frame you are on on your timeline at the bottom.
To export your maps go to the output properties panel on the right and set the resolution you want and the export destination as well as the file type, then you just click render animation and they will be rendered and put in the folder.
