This video was a nice refresher on some of the core principles of design and gave me motivation to go back to sketching . I liked that it wasn't too long, which a lot of tutorials can often be.

Really helpful tips in improving design! No barrier to entry at all, the things that are said in the tutorial can still be applied for beginning artists and experienced ones too. Really cool, look forward to seeing more of these around.

This tutorial is really simple, clear and practical, showing, in short digestible videos, HOW to pick shapes from references, quickly generate a lot of thumbnail designs, and expanding on those thumbnails to create even more designs. I've been looking for a simple workflow for design sketching, since most tutorials gloss over this sort of thing (even though it's seem kinda fundamental) to get into making pretty renders.

Ive seen alot of tutorials trying to break down the design fundamentals but this one really nails it in a straightforward, no nonsense way. It´s to the point, entertaining AND actually shows why designchoices are made, something many design tutorials tend to lack. Shows exactly how to approach difficult subjectmatter and how to THINK, how to break it down and build something totally new!! This tutorial really just made design so much fun, and less...artsy-fartsy abstracty, you actually can apply it from the get go! It really spurs the imagination with the endless possibilites and makes you hungry too, so really recommend it, especially for beginner! Why make boring designs when you can get the tools to make exciting stuff, skies the limit after this workshop! Im very pleased with this purchase, it has made design approachable, not scary. Though, I d recommend you know how to draw already so you can focus on only the design aspect to really get the most out of this.
