The documentation should specify at least on what version of Zbrush these have been tested on, on older versions it seems they are not compatible. Otherwise excellent brushes!
They were created on ZBrush R8 and tested on R8 and later.

Bought both of these packs of brushes and they work just great together. So far, the best tool that I have found in the store (especially at this price)
That was really an awesome motivation! Thank you so much!

Great brush set here! That flattener brush is worth the price alone and allows for very quick rock building from scratch. Combine these with the author's other rock brushes and you have some fantastic brushes to actually build rocks from, not just drag an alpha on.
I am really happy for your feedback. And will try to live up to the expectation of the users. Thanks for purchasing.

Some of the brushes are usefull, but a third of them is downright non-functional. Some Alphas are suffering from precision artifacst, they look like 8bit alphas that were saved as 16bit (surface 1 & 2), some alphas have non-zero values for black areas at the edge, causing a square shape around the alpha when used on a model (NoiseSoft & Roughness) and one brush appears to be nonfunctional (jltrk_sculptsurface), it just digs in and flattens it´s inverted alpha instantly. Please see if you can fix these issues. Images of the issues: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/4hvfd9x3jjm9f0g/AAAgk2bEpSoIVHOSVmkqdwWqa?dl=0
In your given images I can see you have altered many brush stroke settings and applied the strokes without following the video tutorial guidelines which would obviously change the brush behaviour. Also, your other claims are incorrect. But this comment box won't let me post more than a few words. So, here is my dropbox link with my complete reply (.rtf) and all necessary images in response to your images. I would suggest you to watch my two tutorial videos in the item description to see how I have used these brushes to sculpt and create two beautiful rock pieces. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/s3wo8vpz9jnu2px/AADDT20w0wkyUgI1cQtdjBhaa?dl=0
