this works flawlessly. The included V2 update is perfect.

I really want to love this. None of the brushes are really set up properly. They're set to be oriented in UV space on default which means they're facing the wrong way if you're painting in the 3D view. The alpha on the brush kinda makes it impossible for them to tile unless your stroke is in a straight path. You can find another alpha inside Painter and get better results. Overall the maps are very nice and have a good result but leaves the user with a lot of work with set up.

Thanks for review. Most of your problems are unfortunately related to Substance Painter. The reason i've setup every stitch to work in UV/Texture space is because Substance Painter is not supporting deformation of texture along the stroke of the tool at least not in 2018/2019 version. They have reworked the brush engine in recent version but i don't think they've done the same work to tools engine. I'll be upgrading to newest version this week so i'll check it out, if they rewrite the engine and SP is now supporting the deformation of the texture i can export my stitches again with correct setup for 3D viewport. In my experience, this is the best option to texture stitches within substance.
