IN THIS COURSE YOU WILL LEARN :
1. BASE MODELING IN BLENDER
we will model a helmet base mesh in blender by simple polygon modeling (block out )
also, you can do this step in any polygonal modeling software, ( even Zbrush with zmodeler )
2. FINAL MODELING IN ZBRUSH
we will finalize our modeling in ZBrush with its tools, like :
zmodeler - subdivide - dynamesh -zremesher - extract - brushes and ...
3. SCULPTING IN ZBRUSH
after modeling the helmet, its time to add more details and imperfections, so we use ZBrush tools like
alphas - brushes - subdivide - dynamesh -smooth and ...
4. MAKING LOW-POLY IN ZBRUSH
after sculpting, we need our mesh to be low-poly for use in-game industry
so we use Zbrush tools like zremesher - decimation master - projection & ...
to make the best and most accurate low-poly version possible
5. UV UNWRAP IN RIZOM UV (UNFOLD 3D )
in this step, we will use an industry-standard solution for uv unwarping
rizom uv has awesome features and can uv unwrap complex objects fast and high quality,
so we use it to make the cleanest uv s possible
6. BAKING TEXTURES IN MARMOSET
we use marmoset toolbag for baking high-quality normal, ao,... texture maps fast and super high quality
7. TEXTURING IN SUBSTANCE PAINTER
for procedural texturing, we use substance painter
an industry-standard solution for texturing game assets and will export 8k textures for rendering
8. REALTIME RENDERING IN MARMOSET TOOLBAG
marmoset toolbag is amazing for real-time rendering of game assets
it will do it fast and super high quality
and also is fun to work and render with marmoset
after rendering we will enhance our final renders in photoshop
8 +: in this step, we will learn how to make our low poly mesh super low poly
from 48000 points to 4800 points with Zbrush's excellent tools
9. REALTIME RENDERING IN GAME ENGINES ( UNREAL ENGINE 5 )
we are making a game-ready asset, so why don't we use it in a real game engine like unreal ??
so we will import our low poly mesh to unreal engine 5, make a ue5 material for it, and set everything like lighting, and then
we will add ue5 metahuman to our scene so that we will see our beautiful ancient helmet on epic games METAHUMAN
it's recommended to know the basics of the ZBrush, substance painter, ...
