We are looking for an artist to join our team who shares our vision and will bring with them a passion for creating high quality content.
Skills & Requirements
Responsibilities:
• Tracking cameras and objects
• Exporting scenes for compositing and animation teams
• Rotomation of animated objects to match live action plates
• Assemble live-action, 2D and 3D elements into final scene
• Assist with general compositing duties
• Attend animation, tech and compositing launches, provide input and flag possible issues
• Handle revisions & QC fixes as required
Requirements
- 2 + years previous experience on an animated or VFX production
- Strong tracking abilities
- Proficient in the use of Syntheyes and Mocha Pro a plus
- Proficient in the use of Maya
- Proficient in the use of node-based compositing such as Fusion or Nuke
- Understanding of compositing principles including keying and rotoscoping
- Ability to work within established production pipeline
- Collaborative with a positive attitude, can take direction and critiques in a professional manner
- Detail oriented with the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Creative problem-solving skills, solutions oriented
