3D Artist with MARVELOUS Expertise:

Job Summary:

We are looking for 3D artists who have experience working in Marvelous, Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, Photoshop, Blender, and other relevant software.

Marvelous and environmental experience is an ABSOLUTE MUST --- please do NOT apply if you do not have experience with Marvelous.

Note: This Studio is located in SEATTLE, WASHINGTON --- If hired, you will need to PICK UP  Computer / Equipment from the Studio in Seattle, and then you will WORK FROM HOME 5 days per week:  8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Specifics:

We are looking for proficient 3D Artists, who can work in a variety of areas such as 3D modeling, texturing, rendering environments, compositing, and lighting to create exciting and innovative experiences in 3D. The ability to work within and across large, interdependent teams is a must, so the right person will have an implicit understanding of the balance needed between artistry, communication, and partnership.

The ideal candidate will be accomplished in working with a variety of 2D and 3D software packages and demonstrate the ability to raise the quality bar in modeling and texturing static 3D objects. You must be able to build a near-perfect model from physical samples or just a single or small set of photographs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The candidate will create and retouch 3D assets and materials for use in web-based, real-time applications, and photo realistic renderings
  • Maintain consistently high standards for accuracy, aesthetics, and productivity
  • Continuously improve workflows and processes.
  • Ability to coach/train other artists on Team
  • Share best practices, identify process improvements and operational waste reduction

Skills & Requirements

Basic qualifications:

  • 1+ years of professional experience working in a fast-paced 3D production environment
  • Must demonstrate an understanding of technical art production and end-to-end modeling, UV unwrapping, texturing, and rendering workflows
  • Have experience in photo real or architectural rendering
  • Have a strong grasp of 3D lighting techniques
  • Fast turnaround on both hard-surface and organic modeling is a must
  • Must be very well versed in Blender, Marvelous, Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, Photoshop
  • and other relevant software
  • Highly proficient in rendering and retouching 3D renders to accentuate photo-realism
  • Excellent communications, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Innovative, self-directed and good with receiving feedback

Preferred qualifications

  • Be comfortable with visual pattern matching, trouble shooting, optimization, and contributing in a meaningful way with highly visible deliverables that can ship with daily builds

NINE SIXTY NINE Creative Agency is based in Seattle, WA and Los Angeles, CA.  For the past 5 years, we have provided 3D Graphic, Animation, Illustration, and Design Services to clients and studios throughout the USA.  We are currently expanding our 3D Artist team working on-site in Seattle, WA --- immediate openings are available for high-end 3D Art Production positions.  We would love to hear from interested 3D Artists and 3D Materials Designers in Seattle or willing to relocate to greater Seattle.
