The UNC Center for Innovation in Pharmacy Simulation
The UNC Center for Innovation in Pharmacy Simulation (CIPS) is tasked with developing a state-of-the-art, data-driven simulation platform in support of all major missions of the School. These include all phases of education, student training and pharmaceutical research including medication discovery, delivery optimization, assessment, and practice. The platform spans from eLearning to fully immersive, experiential learning simulations using serious gaming, and virtual physiological human concepts. Learning content is created using Unreal Engine 4 and delivered via web browser, mobile computing, PC, Mac, Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) devices.
