Job Description

Sumo have several exciting opportunities for experienced Environment Artists at our Sheffield studio. We are looking for world-class artists with a wealth of experience in driving quality standards on AAA console titles.

This is an incredible opportunity to shape some of the most exciting and groundbreaking video games currently being made in the UK.

Skills & Requirements

We need you to have:

  • Expert levels of High and Low polygon modelling.
  • Expert level of Maya, Photoshop, Zbrush sculpting experience.
  • Have experience of production level shader work.
  • Strong understanding of the creation of physical based shaders.
  • A minimum of 5 years production working on AAA games.

We'd also ideally like you to have (although its not a deal breaker):

  • UE4 experience
  • Animation experience

Sumo Digital is one of the UK's most prolific and secure independent game developers with a talented team spread across four UK Studios; Sheffield, Nottingham, Newcastle and The Chinese Room in Brighton, along with our India studio in Pune.
