Editor Wanted in our hardworking Post Production Team!

An opportunity sprung for an in-house Editor within our Dublin Studio!
As an Editor with Brown Bag Films, you will chip-in significantly to our storytelling. This role will involve close work with our Post-Production and Production teams in a creative and joint relationship. The considerable amount of time you will be focusing on the successful building of animatics shot breakdown of animatics and assembly edits of offlines.
Skills & Requirements
THE JOB:
- Building and amending of animatics
- Assembling of offlines
- Shot breakdown of animatics and preparing files for overseas studio
- Offline editing of finished animation
- Management of timeline during retakes process and prep for online
- Completion of tracking charts and paperwork for post department
- Outputting and video encoding from Adobe Premiere as well as exporting elements for subsequent stages of post-production
- Minor animatic panel fixes using Photoshop
THE INDIVIDUAL:
- Experienced in editing in Adobe Premiere
- Experienced within the Post Production umbrella industries or similar, 3+years' experience essential
- Keen storyteller
- Highly proficient in broadcast video technology, video formats and the post-production process
- Experienced in working within a fast-paced environment and working on broadcasting deadlines
- Photoshop user
- Excellent organiser with an outstanding attention to detail
- Able to keep a cool head when things get heated and work independently
- Excellent communicator
- Creative problem solver and initiative taker
- Animation experience and knowledge is an advantage, but not essential.
- Confident presenter of the work we do to our clients and able to implement creative feedback
During COVID-19 restrictions, the successful candidate will first start remotely and then relocate to the Dublin office on a full-time basis when restrictions are removed.
