Who We Are Looking For

 We are looking for candidates that have never lost the childish enthusiasm for the industry and craft of creativity. We are seeking Creative Directors with a minimum of 5-7 years’ experience who have the ability to work with different personalities, different skill sets and different mediums to bring out the best in not only themselves, but also the teams they interface with.

Our ideal candidate is hands on and the ability to conceptualize, motivate and build campaigns from scratch – working directly with the Chief Creative Officer and the Director of Strategy. We are looking for passionate candidates who love games, entertainment and creation, and respect the global language that unites gamers no matter their location or language. Skills & Requirements

Responsibilities

  • You will conceptualize big idea directions, themes, and the overall mood of the game’s marketing strategy. You should be comfortable creating rough sketches and talking about the ideas both internally and with clients.
  • You will help manage/create early sketches and concepts to then delegate to internal teams for final execution, helping art direct the work from concept all the way to final campaign assets.
  • You will also work closely with our team and provide leadership, feedback and mentorship where applicable towards increasing quality and efficiency of art creation across outsourcing and internal development.
  • You will help execute your own, as well as the high-level CCO’s vision of campaign content and update various stakeholders of seasonal pitches and creative directions.
  • You will strive for best-in-class creative output but be humble to your collaborators and clients. These will include still, motion and graphic designers, project managers, and individual stakeholders from marketing and client teams.
  • You will make sure everyone is in the loop, you will be responsive to feedback, and you'll make sure nothing is missed.
  • You will be agile, adaptable, and positive in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment that is always proactive and not resistant.
  • You will establish and maintain very aggressive deadlines for meeting demands of multiple client projects.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years’ experience and more is a plus in the Video Game Industry.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Strong conceptual thinking. We want candidates who can start a project off from an incredibly strong position and come up with surprising, ownable concepts to present as part of larger plans.
  • A strong background of visual design experience, and experience in an agency environment is key to success.
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills, the ability to work with creative leads and mentor other creatives, as well as the confidence and skill to communicate your ideas clearly with various mediums.
  • Ability to give and receive feedback to both CCO and additional creative departments.
  • Ability to be successful in working on multiple projects at once.
  • A can do, entrepreneurial attitude and a lack of ego is essential to our way or working.
  • Strong ability to be able to produce a broad spectrum of concept work needed in a strategic marketing studio – everything from quick thumbnails through to final illustrations and renders- with a primary focus on concept development.
  • Must have a passion for video games and understand the challenges of creating great art in this environment for this consumer.
